2018 visual style & collateral / Louisville Bats
Internship Work : Visual Identity & Branding
In March 2017, I began working with the Louisville Bats as the club’s graphic design intern. Over the course of the 2017 baseball season, I produced a variety of different print, digital, and collateral materials for the team. During the offseason, I worked with my boss to develop a visual identity for all of our 2018 promotional materials, including digital & print advertisements, videos, season ticket stock, luxury suite ticket books, bobblehead packaging, and other marketing collateral.
Patterns
Illustrated patterns are used as a visual element throughout the system. These may be applied as backgrounds or fills for different objects. Each icon is representative of the baseball experience, the Louisville Bats, and Louisville Slugger Field.
Advertising
This billboard was displayed in three different parts of Louisville from February–April 2018 to promote the sale of season ticket packages.
Ticket Brochure
The ticket brochure is a short yet all-encompassing document that explains season tickets, group outing, and luxury suite options as well as pricing for each. What once was three separate print pieces has been combined into a single 7” x 5” brochure, saving paper and printing costs. It features only the most essential text and is focused on providing imagery of the typical atmosphere and fan experience at Louisville Slugger Field.
Season Ticket Books & cards
Designs were created for both traditional season ticket stock (above) and scannable season ticket access cards (below) to accommodate fan preferences. Red indicates premium level seating, while blue indicates club level seating.
Kids Club Campaign
I created this animated video as a season-long promotion for our Kids Club.
